Today was a heavy, over­cast day here in Long Beach — the kind of day that feels under­wa­ter and I’ve been watch­ing “Blue Planet” on TV…

Walk­ing Mose­ley through the neigh­bor­hood was like walk­ing through a library, the quiet was almost sacred.

Men­tally I’ve felt under­wa­ter all day too… so it seemed appro­pri­ate to choose this Cen­tral Ser­vices draw­ing for today.

Ed and Red are back and they’ve gone div­ing under the sea — each is in his own diving-bubble-helmet, so there is no dia­logue for this drawing.
